Senior Business Development Manager
Media Bodies is looking for a driven Senior Business Development Manager to join our fast-growing team.
This role is ideal for a confident, commercially-minded professional with proven experience managing the full sales cycle - from outreach and pitching to proposal delivery and closing deals. You’ll play a key role in driving the agency’s growth by identifying new opportunities, developing client relationships, and helping shape our new business strategy.

Responsibilities
* Manage the full sales cycle: outbound prospecting, pitching, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
* Conduct outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and industry events to generate new business leads.
* Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within brand and agency partners.
* Lead client calls, present tailored strategies, and communicate Media Bodies’ value proposition clearly.
* Collaborate with the internal team to develop creative and data-led influencer marketing proposals.
* Work closely with account teams to ensure smooth handover of new clients.
* Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting in HubSpot CRM.
* Support and mentor junior team members through training and best practice sharing.
* Identify upsell opportunities within existing clients and contribute to revenue growth targets.
* Report on performance metrics and insights to the Head of BD.
Desired Knowledge & Skills
* Proven experience in sales or business development (ideally within marketing, media, or tech).
* Experience managing the full sales process from prospecting to close.
* Commercially minded with strong negotiation and presentation skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Organised, proactive, and confident in a fast-paced environment.
* Interest in influencer marketing, gaming, or digital media.
* Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot preferred).
