Responsibilities
* Provide design leadership and discipline integration for projects delivered across the Water UK business unit.
* Deliver civil engineering inputs to multidisciplinary projects, at specific design stages or across full project lifecycles.
* Mentor junior engineers to produce high-quality deliverables in client-facing positions.
* Work on a diverse portfolio of projects and clients, including long-term water resource planning and major water infrastructure schemes.
* Collaborate with construction partners within frameworks such as United Utilities’ AMP8 and participate in Strategic Resource Options (e.g., Fens and Lincs SRO reservoirs).
What you’ll need
* The ability to deliver civil engineering inputs to multidisciplinary projects, either at specific design stages or across full project lifecycles.
* Experience in the water or wastewater engineering sector is preferred, but not essential, as upskilling will be provided for the right candidate.
* Working towards, or at Chartered / Incorporated Engineer status with a professional body such as the ICE or CIWEM.
* Curiosity about emerging technologies and a strong interest in sustainability.
