Motion Designer – 6-Month FTC (January Start) Location: London, UK (Hybrid) Salary: £45,000–£50,000 per annum Security Clearance: MUST already hold active UK government security clearance and be able to provide proofAbout the RoleWe’re seeking a talented Motion Designer to join a multidisciplinary creative team on a 6-month fixed-term contract starting in January. The role supports a range of government-related projects, producing high-quality motion graphics and animated content across digital, social, experiential, and campaign environments.This is a fast-paced and sensitive environment, requiring strong judgement, accuracy, and attention to detail.What You’ll DoCreate high-quality motion graphics, animations, and visual assets across multiple formatsDevelop concepts and visual treatments that bring ideas to life across digital, social, and multimedia outputsProduce both short-form and long-form motion content for campaigns and content seriesCollaborate with designers, editors, and creative leads to ensure cohesion and consistencyBuild storyboards, style frames, and motion tests to communicate ideas early in the processIntegrate typography, illustration, graphic elements, and sound design into polished final assetsManage multiple deliverables in parallel while meeting deadlines without compromising qualityContribute creative thinking and craft expertise to elevate overall design outputAbout YouProven experience as a Motion Designer with a strong showreel covering a range of formatsExceptional skills in After Effects, with experience using Illustrator and PhotoshopComfortable working across digital, social, campaign, and multimedia environmentsStrong sense of visual identity, composition, typography, pacing, and storytellingExperience working on sensitive or government-related communications is advantageousProactive, collaborative, and confident in fast-moving workflowsBased in London and available for hybrid workingMUST already hold active UK government security clearance and be able to provide proof (applications without clearance cannot be considered)Contract Details6-month fixed-term contract, starting JanuaryHybrid working, London-basedSalary: £45,000–£50,000 depending on experiencePlease email your portfolio to zahra@spherelondon.co.uk
