Role Overview:
As a PE Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across Key Stages, encouraging participation in a variety of physical activities and sports. Your role will be key in supporting students’ physical development, emotional well-being, and social skills.
Responsibilities as a PE Teacher:
* Plan and deliver a broad range of practical and theoretical PE lessons.
* Encourage student participation, effort, and enjoyment in physical activities.
* Promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and sporting values.
* Support students in preparation for practical and written assessments.
* Organise and lead extracurricular sports activities, clubs, and events.
* Ensure students’ safety during all physical activities and comply with safeguarding guidelines.
Requirements for the PE Teacher role:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* A degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
* Experience teaching PE in a UK school.
* Excellent behaviour management and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for physical education and student well-being.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
