We are seeking a professional and welcoming Doorperson to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional first impression and ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience. As part of this role, you will also be completing some shifts as a luggage porter.
Location: The Milestone Hotel and Residences
Employment type: Casual role, with a minimum of 24 hours per week
Working pattern : Shifts may vary, 8am-8pm or 10am-6:30pm shifts

The Milestone Hotel and Residences is a beautiful five-star hotel located opposite Kensington Palace Gardens and close to The Royal Albert Hall. This property has 43 individually designed bedrooms, 13 luxury suites and 6 long-stay apartments, a classic lounge area for Afternoon Tea, a modern Stables Bar and a 2 Rosettes restaurant, named Cheneston's.
Key Responsibilities of a Doorperson:
Warmly welcome guests and assist with luggage handling upon arrival and departure.
Provide courteous and efficient assistance at the entrance, opening doors and guiding guests.
Offer helpful and knowledgeable advice about Londons attractions, transport, and local amenities.
Assist with guest requests, including arranging transportation and handling deliveries.
Covering Luggage Porter shifts as and when required
Answering general guest queries and ensuring the lobby and front area of the hotel is presentable and clean at all times.
What are we looking for?
Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or hospitality setting.
A positive and welcoming attitude with excellent communication skills.
Strong knowledge of Londons key attractions, transport links, and local areas.
Ability to handle luggage and assist guests efficiently.
