SEN Teacher – Full Time

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to work full-time within specialist provisions across Wigan and Bolton.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in supportive SEN and SEMH settings, delivering tailored lessons to students with a range of additional needs. You will be responsible for creating an inclusive learning environment, adapting the curriculum to meet individual needs, and supporting both academic progress and emotional development.
The role involves working with small class sizes, allowing you to build strong relationships with pupils and provide a more personalised approach to teaching. You will be supported by experienced Teaching Assistants and a wider pastoral team.
We are looking for a teacher who has previous experience working within SEN or SEMH settings and is confident managing behaviour in a calm and consistent manner. The ideal candidate will be patient, adaptable, and passionate about supporting students who may find mainstream education challenging.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with SEN and/or SEMH students
Strong behaviour management skills
Ability to plan and deliver differentiated lessons
This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday, 08:30–15:30) with opportunities for long-term placements and potential permanent positions within schools.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
