An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service & Sales Advisor to join a well-established business within the plant, machinery, and outdoor equipment sector.
This is a varied role combining customer service, sales support, and order processing. You will be the first point of contact for both business and consumer customers, managing enquiries across face-to-face, phone, and email channels while delivering an excellent customer experience.
Salary: £30,000 + Bonus

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
* Handling customer enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email
* Preparing and sending customer quotations
* Proactively following up quotations to convert enquiries into sales
* Supporting customers visiting the showroom with product advice and recommendations
* Processing customer orders from quotation stage through to completion
* Building strong relationships with both B2B and B2C customers
* Providing product guidance on lawn mowers, forestry, and construction equipment
* Maintaining excellent customer service throughout the sales journey
Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience in a customer service, sales, or sales support role
* Background within plant hire, machinery, construction equipment, agricultural, forestry, or outdoor power equipment is highly desirable
* Strong communication skills with confidence dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone
* Experience producing quotations and managing order processes
* Commercially minded with the ability to upsell and follow through on opportunities
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple customer enquiries effectively
* Product knowledge of lawn mowers and/or construction equipment would be advantageous
