Oakie Doke's Playhouse is a children's Soft Play Centre and Cafe in Sevenoaks. We are inviting applicants to join our Soft Play and Cafe at Oakie Doke's Playhouse in Sevenoaks as a Softplay Kitchen Assistant. We are looking for hard working, enthusiastic individuals who want to make their mark and grow with the business.
The successful applicant will be responsible for prepping and making food in our small cafe kitchen during our busy lunchtime rush.
Key tasks will include but are not limited to the below:
* Making food and drinks during our lunchtime rush
* Preparing food that can be prepped ahead of time
* Taking responsibility for managing the food and drinks orders, ensuring they are prepped in order and in a timeline manner
* Ensuring the kitchen is cleaned after each food/drink order
* Washing and drying, as required
* Being responsible for cleaning the kitchen after a play session ends
* Taking payments occasionally, when demand requires
* Ensuring a clean and tidy environment at all times
* Knowledge and experience of food hygiene standards
* Assist with maintaining cafe stock and taking deliveries
* Ensure awareness of health and safety, fire drill, first aid and the safeguarding/whistleblowing process with the ability to follow these
