Job title: Personal Assistant

Hours of work: 7 hours a week (hours/times to be discussed)
Rate of pay: £13.75
A committed, caring and flexible Personal Assistant is required to support a 13 year old young boy out in the community for activities of his interest.
Main Duties:
Support and encourage activities of his interest
Support and encourage new activities and skills to improve skills and confidence
Ensure safety at all times while supporting
Become a friend and engage in conversations
Encourage friendships with peer groups to improve social skills
Take him to his activities in the community such as swimming and horse riding
Person Specification:
Active and energetic
Proactive individual with knowledge of the local area
Good sense of humour
Willing to take on a challenge
Caring, honest, responsible and patient
Flexibility, reliable with good time keeping
Use of own car
Benefits:
Car mileage paid at 50p pm (paid monthly)
5.6 weeks holiday per year (pro rata).
Sick pay at SSP rate if earning £120.00 or more per week.
Training provided to support you in your role.
