We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team at Sudri Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of projects. As a renewables‑focused company specialising in solar PV, battery storage, and heat pump installations, experience within the renewable energy sector is highly desirable, though not essential for the right candidate with strong core electrical skills.
Responsibilities
* Installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with specifications and safety standards
* Supporting the installation and commissioning of renewable technologies such as solar PV, battery storage, and heat pumps (training can be provided)
* Diagnosing electrical faults and performing repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
* Ensuring all work complies with current electrical codes and regulations
* Using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and power tools including drills and saws
* Conducting routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate
* Collaborating with other tradespeople and project managers to complete projects on time and within budget
* Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used
Experience
* Proven experience as an Electrician in a commercial, industrial, or domestic setting
* Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and safety procedures
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for electrical installations and repairs
* Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams effectively
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance are highly desirable
* Experience with renewable technologies (solar PV, battery storage, heat pumps) is preferred but not essential
