Job Description
* Attend project start-up meetings and manage all mechanical aspects to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
* Familiarize yourself with all project details and specifications.
* Collect technical submittals, ensure they are issued, and follow through until approval.
* Manage the labour tracker effectively.
* Maintain weekly progress reports, and report and manage any changes or variations.
* Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team.
* Oversee the coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment.
* Ensure the availability of adequate materials to complete the project.
* Implement construction and commissioning programmes, and execute the commissioning plan on site.
* Manage the K&M handover process and maintain the K&M Document Management System.
* Develop and adhere to project-specific scheduling.
* Attend meetings with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of tasks.
* Participate in general site meetings and address any points raised.
* Communicate any innovative, project-specific works to the Contracts Manager (R&D).
