This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong operational finance expertise combined with commercial acumen and the ability to influence business decisions at Board level. Key focuses will include:
* Lead, manage and develop the finance team, creating a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
* Provide strategic financial insight and support to the leadership team
* Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles
* Monitor business performance against budgets and forecasts
* Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, annual statutory accounts and board reporting packs
* Deliver meaningful commercial reporting and analysis to support decision-making
* Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
* Optimise working capital
* Support the ongoing development and optimisation of finance systems
* Ensure robust financial controls, policies and procedures are maintained across the organisation
