Role: After School Leader
Where: Chiseldon Primary & Nursery School
Pay: Grade K1 - K6
When: After school hours – perfect for those who love a lively, rewarding part-time role! Monday to Thursday 15:25 - 17:30; Friday 13:00 - 16:30
What’s the role all about?
You’ll be the heart and soul of our after school club, making sure every pupil leaves with a smile! From whipping up delicious, healthy snacks to running exciting activities that spark creativity and fun, you’ll keep our pupils safe, happy, and engaged.
What will you be doing?
1. Leading the after school club with energy and enthusiasm – you’re the go-to person for fun!
2. Preparing and serving tasty snacks, keeping everything clean, safe, and hygienic
3. Operating kitchen gadgets like a pro – mixers, toasters, dishwashers, and more!
4. Supervising pupils, supporting their behaviour, and creating a positive, caring atmosphere
5. Helping pupils grow their independence and confidence through fun activities
6. Being the friendly face that pupils and parents trust and rely on
Who are we looking for?
7. Someone with NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) who LOVES working with children
8. A champion of hygiene with a valid food hygiene certificate
9. A fantastic communicator who’s great at working with a team
10. Someone who’s adaptable, caring, and ready to meet the needs of every pupil, including those with allergies
11. A proactive, responsible, and nurturing person who’s ready to step up and make a difference
Bonus points if you:
12. Have paediatric first aid skills (or are keen to train)
13. Have experience in after school care or similar roles
