Key Responsibilities
* Own and manage the product roadmap for one or more digital services.
* Define product vision, goals, and measurable outcomes aligned to DWP priorities.
* Gather and prioritise user requirements using data, analytics, and user research.
* Work closely with Delivery Managers, Business Analysts, Service Designers, Developers, and Architects.
* Manage and refine the product backlog using Agile methodologies.
* Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, prioritisation, and acceptance criteria definition.
* Engage with senior stakeholders across business and technology functions.
* Ensure services meet Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and accessibility requirements.
* Drive continuous improvement using KPIs, service metrics, and user feedback.
* Support discovery, alpha, beta, and live service phases.
* Identify risks, dependencies, and delivery blockers and help resolve them.
* Contribute to governance, reporting, and product documentation.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Product Manager within large-scale digital transformation programmes.
* Experience working within UK Government, public sector, or highly regulated environments.
* Strong knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
* Experience managing digital products throughout the full product lifecycle.
* Ability to prioritise competing requirements and make data-driven decisions.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Experience working with multidisciplinary delivery teams.
* Strong understanding of user-centred design principles.
* Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tooling. xsngvjr
