We are now looking to expand our team with a newly chartered or graduate structural engineer eager to build their career in the field.
Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or newly chartered structural engineer to join our dynamic team. The role will involve carrying out building surveys, preparing detailed structural reports, and supporting wider design and assessment work.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake structural inspections and building surveys on residential and commercial properties.
* Compile professional structural reports with clear indication of the issues and recommendations for the resolution.
* Assist in the design and assessment of building structures using AutoCAD.
* Conduct site visits and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
* Ensure knowledge is always current with the latest revisions to the building regulations, codes of practice, and industry standards.
* Contribute positively to a collaborative, supportive team environment.
Candidate Requirements
* BEng or MEng in Structural Engineering.
* Recently chartered or actively working toward chartership (ICE/IStructE).
* Knowledge of UK construction methods, materials, and regulations.
* Strong communication and report-writing skills.
* Full UK driving license and own car insured for business use– essential for site work.
* Professional, proactive, and eager to learn.
