Job Summary: Serve as the primary contact for developing new accounts in the hazardous locations and industrial equipment sectors, focusing on manufacturers of products used in explosive atmospheres or within industrial control & automation sectors.
Main Responsibilities:
* Establish new account relationships to meet sales targets, emphasizing CSA’s services related to hazardous locations and industrial sectors.
* Prospect for new customers within assigned territory using various lead generation methods.
* Develop strategies for transitioning customers from competitors to CSA Group.
* Prepare proposals and work with technical and operational staff.
* Participate in industry associations and organizations.
* Provide reports on activities and contribute to presentations.
* Analyze industry reports and develop territory insights.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven sales experience in hazardous locations or industrial TIC markets with strong sector connections.
* Knowledge of ATEX Directive, IECEx, UKEx, North American hazardous location approvals, or industrial automation compliance.
* Experience with CRM software and a track record of exceeding sales goals.
* Ability to engage with senior organizational levels and create professional communications.
* Strong project management, initiative, and motivation.
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM applications.
* Willingness to travel as needed; valid driver’s license required.
