We are looking for an inspirational SENCO Assistant to assist the Senior Leadership team at our Dudley Port school, based in Dudley.

Dudley Port School is an independent specialist day school providing high-quality education for boys and girls. Based in Dudley, the school meets the diverse needs of pupils aged 11-16 with a range of complex needs including Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH).

As a SENCO assistant you will primarily be assisting the SENCO in managing the day to day educational provision for the students who have a variety of SEND needs, you will be tasked with supporting the professional development of the staff team including the INSET provision.

You will observe individual students on a daily basis all the while working with the school therapy team to deliver targeted interventions and support.

Your role will include a high degree o collaborative working alongside the existing SLT, teaching staff and senior educational management team.
