Job Description
3. Responsible for managing and developing the finance department
4. Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
5. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
6. Lead the preparation of financial statements and management accounts.
7. Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and trustees.
8. Driving business partnering agenda
9. Reviewing processes and procedures and making change
10. Manage cash flow and monitor financial risks effectively.
11. Collaborate with departments to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.
12. Supervise and mentor the finance team to maintain high performance.
13. Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors as necessary.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Head of Finance should have:
14. Professional accounting qualifications, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
15. Must have either regulatory background or social housing exposure
16. Proven ability to manage budgets and financial reporting processes effectively.
17. Strong knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
18. Exceptional leadership and communication skills to guide teams and advise stakeholders.
19. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
