Responsibilities
* Take overall responsibility for financial control across the region, ensuring compliance with group accounting policies
* Maintain robust internal controls and ensure balance sheet integrity
* Support group risk management and internal audit processes
* Lead the preparation of monthly regional management accounts and reporting to Group Finance.
* Oversee regional statutory reporting and audit processes
* Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance
* Stakeholder Management
* Lead, mentor, and develop the regional finance team.
* Systems & Continuous Improvement
Qualifications
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
* Proven finance leadership experience
* Strong knowledge of UK statutory reporting and group controls
* Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
* Previous experience in the construction industry woud be an advantage
* Familiarity with finance transformation projects and system improvements
