We’re hiring a Trade Counter Sales Advisor / Sales Assistant / Sales Advisor at Plumbase Hemel Hempstead, seeking someone who knows their stock, their customers, and how to deliver excellent service in a fast-paced merchant environment.
You’ll handle everything from quoting and upselling to re-engaging lower-spend accounts and ensuring the counter runs smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Serving trade and cash customers on the counter
* Building quotes and providing technical product advice
* Supporting trade account management and re-engagement
* Maintaining the shop floor and stock areas
* Helping with local pricing, display, and ordering
* Picking and packing orders for customer deliveries
* Creating great relationships with loyal, repeat customers
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in a plumbing & heating, DIY, or builders' merchant environment
* Strong customer-facing skills and confident communication
* Comfortable managing pricing, ordering, and in-store decision-making
* Team-first approach and pride in a tidy, efficient counter
* Full UK driving license
