Machine Operator - BangorWe are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a manufacturing team in Bangor, producing adhesive-coated tapes for automotive, aerospace, and industrial applications.Shift Patterns AvailableOption 1 - Rotating 8-hour shifts (Monday-Friday):Week Week Option 2 - 12-hour shifts (rotating days/nights, between Monday-Thursday):08:00 - 20:0020:00 - 08:00Pay RatesDays: £13.12 per hourEvenings (16:00 - 00:00): £16.27 per hourNights: £17.71 per hourRole OverviewYou will be responsible for operating large-scale industrial machinery within a small production team, ensuring consistent, high-quality output in line with production schedules and strict health & safety standards.Key Responsibilities & DutiesSet up, operate, and adjust production machinery in line with SOPsLoad raw materials into machines and remove finished products safelyMonitor production runs to ensure consistent quality standards are metCarry out visual inspections and report defects or inconsistenciesIdentify and escalate machine faults or production issues promptlyComplete basic data entry and production logging on computer systemsMaintain accurate production records where requiredFollow all health & safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all timesKeep work area clean, organised, and compliant with site standardsSupport team members to maintain smooth production flowSkills & Experience RequiredPrevious experience in a manufacturing or machine operating environmentGood mechanical awareness and practical aptitudeStrong attention to detail and quality focusAbility to follow instructions and standard operating proceduresReliable, flexible, and safety-conscious approach to workAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBenefitsTemp-to-perm opportunity based on performance and attendanceStructured rotating shift patternLong-term career progression opportunitiesSupportive team environmentIf you are reliable, motivated, and looking for a new opportunity in manufacturing, we would love to hear from you.Interested?
