Flexible Remote Work: 2 days in the office/on-site, 2 days working from home
Salary: £39000 - £47,000 per annum (Plus £3000 HCLA where appropriate)

The Role – Senior Ecologist
As a Senior Ecologist, you’ll be the go-to expert for leading exciting projects. Your role will involve:
* Conducting Preliminary Ecology Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments, and Habitats Regulations Assessments.
* Designing and leading ecological surveys and mitigation strategies.
* Mentoring consultants and graduates, and contributing to the team’s success.
* Collaborating across disciplines on unique, high-impact projects.
* Managing client relationships and ensuring your advice shapes the success of their projects.
Essential Attributes:
* Academic qualifications in ecology or biological sciences.
* CIEEM membership, with a commitment to Chartership.
* In-depth knowledge of the legislative and planning policy framework.
* Excellent survey skills, including extended Phase I/UKHabs, specialized species surveys (holding at least one license or specialisation), and/or botanical assessments.
* Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
* A proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
* Alignment with company values and a passion for innovation.
