Overview
My client are seeking a vibrant and commercially astute Associate Building Surveyor to join their Leeds team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated MRICS building surveyor who thrives in a client-facing role and wants to help drive the success and growth of a global consultant. You will support the team in delivering the highest quality instructions across a wide range of building surveying disciplines, including a mixture between commercial projects and professional services ensuring excellent service delivery aligned with client expectations and business strategy. With a real growth within culture, you will have opportunities to progress your career up to Director level in three years.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver a comprehensive range of building surveying services, including both professional and project-based instructions.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of all instructions.
Contribute to business development, aligning delivery with strategic growth targets.
Support, mentor, and guide junior surveyors to help build team capability and expertise.
Maintain compliance with relevant standards, legislation, and best practices.
About You
The ideal candidate will have several years’ experience within a building consultancy preferably focused on the commercial or private sector. In addition, at least two-years PQE MRICS is essentially for this role due to the nature of their clients. Our client is focused on delivering a more personal management style due to being a slightly smaller team within a global firm which means the role is perfect for an individual looking to excel and specialise within the sector whilst still receiving competitive salaries and bonuses. These bonuses are a percentage of your salary which occur annually, related to company targets and has been met each year for the last five years
