QA ManagerA leading food manufacturer is seeking a QA Manager to take ownership of site quality assurance, food safety, and compliance. This is a key leadership role ensuring products consistently meet legal, safety, and customer requirements, while maintaining best-in-class audit readiness and driving a strong quality culture across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.You'll be responsible for leading the site's QA function, working closely with operations, technical teams, and major retail customers. The role combines hands-on quality leadership with strategic oversight, ensuring robust systems are in place and continuously improved.You'll act as a central point of contact for audits, customer interactions, and internal quality performance, ensuring the site operates to the highest technical and compliance standards at all times.Key responsibilities:Lead site QA, food safety, and compliance activitiesMaintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS)Own HACCP documentation and ensure effective implementation in collaboration with technical teamsLead preparation for and successful delivery of BRC and customer auditsAct as key QA contact for retailer and supermarket requirementsManage non-conformance investigations, complaints, and product release decisionsDrive GMP compliance and continuous improvement across quality systemsLead, coach, and develop the QA teamEnsure full compliance with food safety legislation and customer standardsSupport NPD, trials, and process validation from a QA perspectiveWhat you'll need:Strong experience in QA, technical, or food safety roles within food or beverage manufacturingProven experience delivering BRC standards and supporting external auditsExperience working with major retailers or supermarket customersStrong understanding of HACCP and food safety systemsAnd this is what you'll get:Competitive salaryHigh pension contributionsLife assuranceCritical illness coverTPBN1_UKTJ
