Job: Teaching Assistant
Salary range: £85.50 - £96.12 per day
Location: Merthyr Tydfil

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team, working in primary schools in Merthyr Tydfil. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the learning and development of students, while gaining valuable experience in a classroom environment.
Note: we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
Requirements
* Experience in a UK school setting.
* DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain a new one.
* A relevant Teaching Assistant Qualification (Level 2 or 3).
* Passion for working with children and supporting their development.
* 1 to 1 experience is highly desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, adaptability and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
* Support individual students or small groups in their academic, social, and emotional development.
* Provide one-to-one support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
* Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Assist with classroom management, including setting up materials and resources.
* Supervise students during break times and extracurricular activities.
* Support pupils with their reading, writing, and numeracy skills.
