Role purpose:
The Sales & Marketing Director is responsible for the sales and marketing strategy, execution, and attainment of the Enterprise BU sales targets, contributing to the successful growth of the business within SCC.
The role manages strategic initiatives that drive successful sales and marketing campaigns into prospective target customers, from within the SCC managed or transacting base and new logo targets.
Key responsibilities:
* Creation and execution of a sales and marketing strategy to attain or exceed sales targets.
* Management of sales specialists, BDEs, SDRs, and campaign marketing resources to ensure attainment of sales targets through managed and transacting accounts.
* Management of vendor alliances aligned to BU strategic partners to attain certifications, co-sell motions, and vendor-specific targets.
* Recruitment and development of team members, ensuring personal development and training plans in line with business development goals.
* Leading sales excellence, growing team skills to achieve success.
* Regular reporting on sales and marketing execution, pipeline management, and forecasting.
* Building relationships within SCC sales teams and with customers and prospects at senior levels.
* Conducting performance reviews, talent mapping, and executing performance improvement plans.
Skills and experience:
* Proven success working with Tier vendors such as Dell, HPe, IBM, Cisco, NetApp, Pure, Lenovo, with senior relationships and localized vendor engagement.
* Leadership of onsite, virtual, and remote teams with coherent messaging.
* Experience in reselling Tier vendors as solutions.
* Experience in campaign and content marketing strategies to drive growth.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build relationships at board level.
* Strategic, results-oriented, with a focus on revenue growth.
* Proficiency in sales metrics, forecasting, and data analysis.
* Creative marketing and sales approaches.
* Ability to adapt in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
* Successful track record in IT services industry sales leadership, managing Managed and New Business teams.
