We are looking for an Electronics Manufacturing Technician for a 12-month contract based in Solihull on behalf of Rolls-Royce who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planets vital power needs. What youll do: Responsible for the production of surface mount and through hole assemblies unit systems and system build. Setting and operating the machines and equipment to produce parts for OE using standard work procedures. Ability to follow standard operating procedures as required. Maintain all relevant operational control processes such as visual management boards and planning schedules. Works in an integrated team to achieve the cells targets. Raising of Non-Conformance documentation and assisting the Team and Management in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Maintains equipment by ensuring TPM, 5S, calibration is adhered to. Follows health, safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Other duties may be assigned by the Production Leader. The skills youll need: Previous experience of electronics manufacturing (manual & automated build techniques). Soldering (IPC trained) would be an advantage.
