Were looking for a maintenance engineer to join our Assembly Operations in Banbury. In this role, youll provide hands-on maintenance and technical support to keep our production lines running safely and efficiently. Your expertise will help us hit key performance targets while driving innovation across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing day-to-day maintenance support on shift to ensure plant uptime and optimal performance
* Diagnosing faults, carrying out preventative maintenance, and supporting installations of new equipment
* Using and improving our CMMS system to track maintenance activity
* Participating in plant audits, root cause analysis (8D, A3), and process improvement initiatives
* Using escalation procedures to flag downtime, quality issues, or safety concerns
Experience and Qualifications
* Time-served apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical engineering
* IOSH trained or committed to health & safety best practices
* Strong communicator with good decision-making skills
* Experienced with CMMS systems and preventative maintenance processes
* Competent using Microsoft Office and familiar with technical documentation
* Someone who is proactive, safety-conscious, and highly organised
* A natural problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset
* Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively
