GCSE Tutor - Key Responsibilities & Requirements Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured GCSE lessons that inspire and motivate students Support exam preparation through revision strategies, past paper practice, and targeted guidance Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs Maintain regular communication with parents or guardians to provide updates on progress and achievements Foster a positive, encouraging, and focused learning environment Requirements: Strong subject knowledge in the relevant GCSE area(s) Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one Punctual, patient, and approachable with excellent interpersonal skills Ability to create a motivating, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
