Your Mission As our Cleaning Supervisor, you'll take the lead in maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standards across our operational floor - ensuring our facilities and machinery stay safe, spotless, and ready for production. You’ll be responsible for overseeing a small team of dedicated cleaners, helping to plan shifts, allocate tasks, and ensure cleaning routines are followed to spec. This is a hands-on role that balances leadership with active involvement - from supporting deep cleans and audits to rolling up your sleeves. You’ll work closely with our Operations team to make sure cleaning schedules align with operational needs and that everything from equipment to floors meets our strict hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities Take part in daily and deep cleaning duties and ensure proper use of cleaning equipment and PPE Lead and support a team of cleaners working across the operational floor Plan, assign and monitor daily and weekly cleaning routines Ensure cleaning standards meet food production and hygiene requirements Complete and maintain cleaning records for traceability and audits Report and resolve any issues related to cleanliness or maintenance needs Support team training and refreshers on hygiene procedures and safe chemical use Work with Production and Ops teams to coordinate around shift changes and busy periods Contribute to site readiness for inspections and audits What You'll Bring Previous experience in cleaning supervision, ideally in a food or production environment Strong knowledge of hygiene and safety standards (HACCP awareness is a plus) Experience planning and leading a small team Confident in using cleaning checklists and maintaining records Eye for detail and pride in delivering high standards Great communication and the ability to give clear direction Hands-on attitude and willingness to support wherever needed Flexible, reliable, and organised - you know how to get the job done What’s In It For You?
