LCNUK is recruiting a Finance Trustee to join our board and help oversee the financial health of our charity. This role is vital to ensuring our long-term sustainability and good governance.

You will help secure the financial integrity of LCNUK, enabling the charity to continue its vital work supporting specialist nurses and advocating for better lung cancer care.
What are we looking for?
Essential Professional experience in finance, accountancy, or financial management (ideally within the charity or non-profit sector). Experience of strategic planning and governance. A clear understanding of the financial responsibilities of charity trustees. Commitment to the mission and values of LCNUK. Desirable Experience in NHS management or an understanding of the healthcare sector. Previous trustee or board experience.
What will you be doing?
As a Finance Trustee, you will Provide expert financial oversight, supporting the board in budgeting, reporting, and financial planning. Ensure compliance with charity financial regulations and best practice. Contribute to strategic decisions, helping shape LCNUK's future direction. Act as a critical friend to the board, providing constructive challenge and insight.
