Quality Engineer
Job Description
* Analyse non-conformance data (e.g., scrap, rework, customer complaints) to identify trends and quality improvement opportunities.
* Lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions in line with internal and customer requirements.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to create and maintain inspection visual aids and ensure up-to-date quality documentation.
* Oversee inspection stamp control processes, ensuring compliance with standards and procedures.
* Participate in MRB meetings and lead/support 8D investigations.
* Conduct and maintain containment audits, confirming implementation of quality alerts and process controls.
* Support FAIR (First Article Inspection Report) preparation and lead quality input for PFMEA and control plans.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies and procedures in support of AS9100 accreditation.
* Track and report quality KPIs and participate in continuous improvement activities.
Quality Engineer
Qualifications & Experience
* HND/Degree in Engineering or related field, or
* 5+ years of equivalent experience in aerospace or manufacturing quality roles.
* Minimum 5 years in a Quality/Engineering function within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of Chemical Processing or Welding processes.
* Knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP standards.
* Experience with FAIRs, PFMEA, and inspection processes.
* Experience leading internal audits to AS9100.
