Job Title: Room Leader Company: Raphael Nursery Location: Clapham, London Job Type: Full Time Salary: £28k - £32k Bi-annual bonuses About the Role: As a nursery practitioner you will provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children, support their development across all the 7 areas of learning and plan/implement activities and experiences that promote learning and development. Responsibilities of working at Raphael Nursery: * Participates in the children's development and wellbeing * Carries out risk assessments throughout the day to ensure the nursery is a safe environment and complies with Safeguarding Procedures * Collaborates to the day-to-day running of the nursery supporting the other staffs in the room in the running of activities, organisation of the room and working always as a team * Ensures a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care and development for all children at Raphael Nursery * Assist in promoting equal opportunities and the inclusion of children with special educational needs and disabilities. * Liaise with and support parents/careers and other family members Requirements: The successful candidate must be qualified to Level 3 in childcare, have a firm understanding and experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage and have previous experience working within an Early Years setting. Confident decision maker, with previous experience providing support to colleagues, team, parents and children.
