Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, on a rotating shift basis between 07:00-20:00 including some weekends

We are seeking an Equipment & Logistics Supervisor to join their busy team in Dagenham. This is a hands-on supervisory role, involving department oversight, ensuring equipment is correctly processed, stored, tracked, and dispatched in line with company standards and health & safety requirements.
Equipment & Logistics Supervisor Role:
As an Equipment & Logistics Supervisor, you will manage the day-to-day operations of your allocated department(s), lead and support technicians, ensure all equipment lifecycle activities (preparation, testing, storage, dispatch, returns) are completed accurately, and collaborate across operations, inventory and sales teams to deliver efficient services.
Equipment & Logistics Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
Supervise departmental activities and ensure adherence to company procedures, standards and health & safety policies
Lead, train and support technicians; allocate resources effectively
Oversee inventory control & asset management: equipment preparation, testing, storage and tracking
Manage order fulfilment and quality control: scanning, job checks, presentation and compliance of equipment
Collaborate with operations, inventory and sales teams to optimise workflows and deliver seamless service
Contribute to process improvements, accurate documentation and proactive escalation of issues
What They Are Looking For:
Essential:
IT literate (strong with Microsoft Office applications)
Excellent communication, adaptability and drive for continuous improvement
Ability to respond to ad hoc tasks and operate in a dynamic environment
Flexibility for overtime and occasional weekend work
Desirable:
Experience supervising in equipment hire, logistics or fulfilment environments
