We are looking for an experienced chef to join our new nursery in Chalfont St Peter. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the growth of a new nursery from opening.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 2pm (5 hours per day / 25 hours per week)

We are a small family run nursery group that has been operating for over 30 years. We currently have four nurseries, all of which are rated 'Good' by Ofsted and have a strong waitlist. We value each and every member of our staff team and recognise that people can bring different ideas and suggestions all of which are equally valued. We view our team members as our extended family and most of our staff have worked with the company for many years.

What we are looking for
The ideal candidate for this role will be a Nursery Chef with good knowledge of healthy cooking, particularly for young children (e.g. in nurseries or schools).
Requirements:
* Food Hygiene certificate (can undertake the course with us if required)
* Good knowledge of healthy cooking, particularly for young children
* Ability to cook tasty, homely and healthy meals
* Ability to keep stock and place orders for supplies
* Knowledge of practices and paperwork associated with 'safer food, better business'
* Experience working with children is beneficial (not required).
