Marine Engineer Service Technician
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Marine Service Technician, with marine ship experience as either a Motorman, 3rd Engineer or 2nd Engineer
The ideal candidate will ensure that all activities are conducted safely, efficiently, while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.
The place of work will be a mix between external ship visits and our purpose built workshop located in the Marina at Littlehampton
Report Daily Progress to either the Marine Contract Manager or Senior Workshop Engineer depending on work location, to ensure timely completion of tasks and resolve any issues that arise.
Ability & Responsibilities
Maintain accurate records of site activities, including equipment usage, and material inventory, with the ability to use, repair and maintain equipment and tooling
Commissioning of installed equipment and signed hand-over to client
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to Think, Solve Problems & Make Decisions under pressure.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus on project objectives.
Familiarity with H&S regulations relevant to the workplace and shipping industry.
This is a "Hands On Role with the requirement to "Get Involved"
Salary depending on experience and ability
Entry-level: £24,000 - £30,000.
Experienced: £30,000 - £43,000.
Specialized/Highly Experienced: £52,300+.
