We’re partnered with a fast-growing early-stage startup that’s reimagining how people interact with real-world spaces like museums, aquariums, and heritage sites using AI, computer vision, and generative technologies.
They’ve nailed successful pilots with big names in the cultural space and recently closed their pre-seed round. Now they’re looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to take ownership of their AI stack and help shape the next phase of their growth.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Designing and deploying computer vision models to identify exhibits and physical objects across large venues
* Integrating LLMs and RAG systems to create contextual, safe, and engaging user conversations
* Developing voice interfaces using speech-to-text and text-to-speech for hands-free visitor experiences
* Building scalable infrastructure, backend APIs, and MLOps pipelines (ideally on AWS)
* Working closely with the founder to influence the product roadmap and AI direction
What They're Looking For:
* Strong Python skills with experience using frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
* Solid experience in computer vision or transferable ML background
* Familiarity with cloud platforms and backend development with MLOps in mind
* Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or interest in AR, indoor navigation, or data infrastructure is a plus
Why This Role?
* Lead and own the AI function from the ground up
* Work on something that combines cutting-edge tech with real-world impact
* Collaborate directly with the founder and play a part in product and tech decision-making
