Your New RoleYou’ll be joining as a Principal or Associate Ecologist, stepping into a leadership role within a local team of 2 and a wider team of 11 ecologists. You’ll lead exciting regional projects, manage clients, QA reports, and contribute to business development. Expect a 50/50 split between solar and residential schemes (with others in the mix), for a large solar project in Bedfordshire and residential developments across Beds, Herts, and Essex.What You'll Need to Succeed
1. 8+ years’ experience in ecology consultancy
2. Strong project management and business development skills
3. Ability to lead surveys, write quotes, QA reports, and manage clients
4. Ideally FISC Level 3 to lead habitat surveys
5. Personable, proactive, and collaborative approach
6. BSc in Ecology or related field (2:1 or higher is desirable)
7. Full CIEEM membership or working towards
8. Full UK Driving licence
