Senior Sommelier - Oblix at the Shard
Located on the 32nd floor of The Shard, Oblix is a sophisticated, contemporary restaurant, split across two different spaces offering views across central London from East to West.
* Oblix West is a refined, urban dining space with open fire dining and a modern menu, where the cuisine stands up to the view.
* Oblix East offers diners an eclectic mix of innovative dishes along with award-winning cocktails and afternoon tea.
About the role
We are looking for a passionate Senior Sommelier to join our team here at Oblix. Our Senior Sommelier's are hardworking, dedicated and strive to deliver the superior level of customer service that we are known for. Our teams have bags of personality and are confident working at a fast pace whilst maintaining Oblix’s high standards.
To be a successful Oblix Senior Sommelier you would bring a passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience, an extensive wine knowledge and a hunger to learn and progress.
The requirements
* Previous experience in a similar high-end restaurant as a Sommelier or Senior Sommelier
* WSET Level 2 or above (desired)
* Sake knowledge/keen interest to learn
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Great team player
