About the Role
As our specialist Groundworker, you will be responsible for critical drainage infrastructure work on a key project in Delamere. Your primary duties will involve:
Performing deep drainage excavations and installations, ensuring accurate pipe laying and connection.
Undertaking manhole repairs and construction, including benching, rendering, and structural integrity work.
Working safely and competently within confined spaces, following all necessary procedures and regulations.
Operating relevant plant and equipment as required (e.g., compaction equipment, small excavators if ticketed).
Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Adhering strictly to all site health and safety guidelines and risk assessments.
Collaborating effectively with the site team and reporting progress to the site manager.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a groundworker with a strong focus on deep drainage and manhole repairs.
A valid confined spaces ticket is essential for this role.
CSCS card.
Strong understanding of groundworks principles, excavation techniques, and pipe-laying.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
A proactive approach to health and safety on site.
Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
