Working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to ensure that requirements and processes are accurately captured, validated and well understood, aligning these to business goals and departmental goals, enabling the business strategy and long-term plans. Your high-quality analysis and documentation will support the business in making informed decisions, supporting GIS in delivering excellence in technology that drives exceptional outcomes, value and experiences.
What you'll do
* As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be working on high profile, complex projects capturing high-quality process flows, requirements for a variety of engagement types.
* Working with a range of stakeholders both internally within Group IS and across the business to define high-level requirements, processes, user stories and identifying pain points of existing processes.
* Responsible for requirement elicitation and validation on a variety of diverse, complex and high-profile engagements.
* Identifying and addressing the root causes leading to more sustainable and long-term improvements.
* Write high quality requirement documents, use cases and produce clear process flow documents.
* Performing GAP Analysis on processes and requirements.
* Foster collaboration and trust by providing clear communication, consistency and reliable results.
* Adopt best practices and frameworks supporting our strategic tools and standards.
* Utilizing a range of Tools and Methodologies.
* Working with the internal/external teams to review solutions and to hand over requirement specifications for the delivery phase.
* Comply with both internal and external standards such as security, legislation, and best practice.
* Cross functional and cross-country team collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Strategic Alignment – keeping the future in mind.
* Identifying opportunities and solutions that align to company objectives.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement, delivering value for the Company.
* Provide consultancy to stakeholders and team in knowledge areas.
What you'll need
Essential Skills
* Experienced senior business analyst, delivering enhancements and process improvements in medium to large companies (5+ years)
* Highly motivated and organised with a systematic approach.
* Have a high level of emotional intelligence, supporting stakeholders in making informed business decisions.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills; capable of managing multiple projects.
* Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to interact and coordinate efficiently with diverse and senior stakeholders.
* Have an inquisitive attitude and a friendly open approach.
* Able to see the bigger picture while understanding and managing complex requirements.
* Strong critical thinking skills; effectively translate business and technical requirements.
* Ability to piece together information from multiple sources, processes, and systems.
* Proficient in writing high-quality requirement documents, use cases, and clear process flows.
* Experience in designing business processes, perform requirements analysis and running workshops.
* Capable of driving and influencing others in both IS and business to meet deadlines.
* Developed best practice processes and procedures.
* Experience of developing best practice processes and procedures.
Highly Desirable
* Experience of working on large projects across multiple countries and time zones
* LEAN Six Sigma certification – Green belt certified
* IIBA / BCS certification
