Role Description: Principle onshore pipeline engineer leading the pipeline engineering effort across our client's front end, detailed design, construction, and commissioning projects.
Project Responsibilities: Reporting to the Lead Engineer on the BP Project, responsible for delivering pipeline engineering documentation to support activities across the NEP/NZT project from detailed design through to construction and commissioning.
Technical and Management Responsibilities: Ensuring the technical content, solutions, and delivery of pipeline engineering activities and deliverables meet project requirements, including adherence to budgets and deadlines. Responsible for checking and approving design work in accordance with company procedures. Coordinating with other disciplines as required. Preparing pipeline engineering estimates and schedules.
Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities: Being aware of legal and organizational responsibilities regarding health, safety, sustainability, and environmental issues, ensuring all activities comply with company policies and client requirements.
Project Monitoring and Communication: Planning for adequate resources, monitoring, and reporting on design progress in line with the project schedule (SPI) and hours spent against earned value (CPI). Cascading information on organizational performance, policies, and procedures. Reporting feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Leadership and Development: Offering advice and support to colleagues and subordinates on personal and career development. Providing training, information, feedback, and assisting in achieving objectives.
