National Sales Manager – GBUK Group
Location: UK (Field-based with regular attendance at Head Office)
Reporting to: Head of Group UK Sales
GBUK Group is a rapidly growing medical device organisation specialising in enteral feeding, critical care, patient handling and vascular access solutions. With a strong UK presence and expanding international footprint, we support healthcare professionals across the NHS and private sectors with innovative, high-quality products and services.
We are now recruiting for a National Sales Manager to lead and develop our UK sales operation and drive sustainable commercial growth.
The Role
As National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the UK sales strategy through the leadership of a team of Area Business Managers. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth, developing market opportunities, and ensuring consistent performance across all regions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver UK sales growth in line with agreed budgets and strategic objectives
* Lead, coach and motivate a team of Area Business Managers
* Develop and execute national sales strategies in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team
* Analyse market trends, sales performance, and opportunities for growth
* Own pricing strategies, tender submissions, and commercial negotiations
* Identify new revenue streams and product opportunities
* Build strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders and NHS partners
* Work closely with internal teams including Marketing, NPD, Purchasing and Customer Service
* Provide accurate forecasting, reporting and performance analysis
* Oversee CRM usage and ensure high standards of sales activity and reporting
* Support the launch and growth of new products and ranges
About You
Essential:
* Proven experience in a senior sales or sales management role
* Strong understanding of the NHS and healthcare procurement landscape
* Commercially astute with the ability to analyse data and drive results
* Demonstrable leadership and people management experience
* Confident communicator with strong influencing skills
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
* Experience within medical devices or healthcare
* Degree or equivalent qualification
* Experience managing national or regional sales teams
