Ivy Rock Partners is proud to be partnering with a leading London based housing developer to recruit a Finance Business Partner. This is a perfect development role for a finalist/newly qualified Accountant to act as the primary interface between Finance and Budget Holders.
This would suit an ambitious ACA qualified Accountant moving out of an audit firm looking to move into Business Partnering, or a CIMA/ACCA/CIPFA qualified/finalist Management Accountant/Junior Business Partner who is looking for a progressive move.
You'll act as a trusted business partner, providing insight and analysis to support strategic decision-making, while ensuring compliance with financial standards and governance requirements.

Work within the Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance team collaborating across Finance and with internal and external stakeholders to deliver strategic objectives.
You'll get a chance to be heavily involved in:
Performance & Reporting: responsibility of the management information reporting to support performance management and drive business improvement across development and sales activities.
Budgeting & Planning: prepare and review budgets and forecasts with budget holders and support them in achieving divisional targets.
Control Environment: perform monthly reconciliations, maintain financial records and systems, and liaise with external auditors during audits.
Portfolio Oversight: identify and manage risks associated with each individual development schemes including an overall evaluation of financial exposure, risk analysis, and recommend risk mitigating measures.
Statutory & Management Accounts: prepare accurate and timely statutory and management accounts in line with current accounting policies.
Continuous Improvement: collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to drive efficiency, value for money, and continuous improvement in financial processes.
