About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Sous Chef to be second-in-command in our kitchen, supporting our Head Chef in delivering an outstanding dining experience for our residents at the Preston Hilltop Care Community.

What You’ll Do
* ✔️ Support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team and managing daily operations.
* ✔️ Prepare and cook nutritious, high-quality meals that meet resident dietary needs and preferences.
* ✔️ Help maintain the highest standards of food safety, kitchen hygiene, and compliance.
* ✔️ Step up and lead the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
* ✔️ Contribute to creating a dining experience that brings joy to our residents.
What You’ll Need
* ✔️ Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience.
* ✔️ Experience as a Chef, with some supervisory or leadership exposure.
* ✔️ Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
* ✔️ A passion for food and a genuine desire to make a difference in aged care.
* ✔️ Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
* ✔️ Willingness to complete:
* Pre-employment medical
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
