SELF-EMPLOYED ONLY. Live-In Carer – Female (Driver Preferred, Mental Health Support Experience).
Start Date: 1st March (handover from previous carer).
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate female live-in carer to support a client with a focus on mental health and emotional wellbeing. The role involves working alongside the client’s husband’s private carers, maintaining balance in the household, and providing patient, flexible, and understanding care.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide daily mental health support, helping manage anxiety and calming challenging situations.
* Occasionally prepare light snacks and drinks for the client’s husband. Coordinate with the husband’s private carers regarding the client’s meals and daily routine.
* Offer companionship, reassurance, and emotional support to the client.
* Work collaboratively with other carers in the home to ensure smooth household dynamics.
Requirements
* Female carer with experience in mental health support. Driver preferred (client has a car; carer will be insured).
* Excellent communication skills, patience, and flexibility.
* Ability to remain calm in challenging situations and adapt to household dynamics.
* Respectful and professional approach while collaborating with multiple carers.

Important Note
The work of the live-in carer and the private carers may occasionally overlap. This is intentional to maintain balance in the household. Transparency about this dynamic is essential for all candidates.
Salary
£750/ week.
Qualifications (additional)
* Minimum education: Secondary school / unfinished.
* Language skills: English.
* Other employee requirements:
o Carers must speak and write English at B2 level. Carer should ideally be a non-smoker. Must have previous care experience. Documents needed: Up to date passport EU settlement status. Reference from previous jobs.
