An exciting opportunity to join the Product Support & Logistics Division (PSLD) as a Material Requirements Planning Manager where you will support worldwide distribution of Cat aftermarket parts, integrated logistics, and global service to develop and support our global dealer network and customers. The Material Requirements Planning Manager maintains agreed-upon inventory levels to provide a flow of raw materials and components from the supply chain to the manufacturing facility. What You Will Do: Maintain a well‑organised, compliant stock room environment, ensuring all products are stored according to their specific handling and safety requirements. Lead and develop the materials management team, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback to support growth and high‑quality work. Foster positive labour relations by promoting open communication, fair practices, and a respectful, collaborative workplace culture. Monitor and sustain optimal inventory levels, balancing availability with cost efficiency to keep operations running smoothly. Analyze inventory trends and data, providing informed recommendations to improve stock accuracy, reduce waste, and enhance planning decisions. Oversee the upkeep and functionality of inventory management systems, coordinating with technical teams to ensure reliable software performance and continuous improvement. Skills You Will Be Able To Demonstrate: Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems. Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. Distribution Center Management: Knowledge of distribution center management; ability to operate a warehouse or distribution center that handles the flow of goods from supplier to production to customer. Inventory Management - MFG: Knowledge of processes and methods of inventory management; ability to effectively manage local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods. Logistics Management: Knowledge of logistics and management; ability to follow proper processes and run operations for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products. Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. Process Improvement: Understanding and insight into evaluating current product quality and production methods and ability to maintains focus on the continuous improvement of processes, products and services. Supply Chain Management - MFG: Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes. What Experience You’ll Have: Proven experience in materials management, including oversight of inventory environments and compliance with product-specific storage standards. Strong background in material planning, forecasting, and demand analysis. Demonstrable leadership skills Experience managing labour relations in alignment with company guidelines and regulatory requirements. Hands-on experience with inventory control systems and ERP platforms, including system support and maintenance coordination. Ability to maintain accurate and efficient inventory processes through cycle counting, variance analysis, and continuous improvement. Experience implementing operational standards for safety, quality, and compliance in stock rooms or warehouse environments.
