3. Technical Roadmap: Contribute to the development of an ambitious technical roadmap aligning with business needs, engineering goals, and partner requirements.
4. Innovative Problem Solving: Resolve complex and strategic issues using advanced technical knowledge, developing bespoke solutions, especially in untested technologies or products with large-scale impact.
5. Operational Excellence: Lead engineering and operational excellence initiatives, establishing metrics and processes for regular assessment and improvement.
6. Engineering Culture: Foster an engineering culture that promotes innovation, creativity, predictability, and reliability in product development.
7. Code Development: Write, test, and review code, addressing complex aspects independently, and communicate effectively with engineering professionals.
8. Mentorship: Mentor other software engineers, sharing technical knowledge and contributing to team improvement.
9. Technology Trends: Champion emerging trends and changes in software engineering, continuously sharing knowledge with the team.

What you'll bring
MANDATORY
13. Proven experience in Software Solution Development preferably in Ruby, Python or Java (open to any other languages if willing to learn).
14. Hands-on experience in full-stack software development and DevOps.
15. Lead end-to-end technical delivery of large complex projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders, identifying dependencies, risks, issues, costs, and providing accurate reporting.
16. Understanding of CI/CD concepts with experience in automated pipelines and platforms testing across development environments.
17. Solid knowledge of test design techniques, debugging, and root cause analysis.
18. Proven experience in automated testing of web and backend applications.
19. Experience working with Cloud technologies and providers.
20. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and technologies.
21. Proven track record of resolving complex and strategic issues using advanced technical knowledge.
22. Effective stakeholder management skills.
23. Demonstrated leadership abilities, including mentoring junior software engineers.
NICE TO HAVE (not essential)
24. Experience in building, maintaining and orchestrating docker containers with docker-compose, Kubernetes.
25. Experience of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
26. Proficiency with Robot Framework, Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.
27. Experience with AWS or GCP.
28. OpenStack ecosystem.
29. ELK Stack and Kafka.
30. Monitoring tools like Monit, Telegraf, Prometheus etc.
31. Database skills – relational DBs, SQL, Oracle.
