Job Description
3. Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure the efficient operation of machinery and equipment.
4. Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
5. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all maintenance activities.
7. Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and report on equipment performance.
8. Collaborate with the engineering team to optimise machinery performance and reliability.
9. Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns to minimise disruption to production.
10. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
The Successful Applicant
11. Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
12. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
13. Knowledge of health and safety standards in an engineering environment.
14. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
15. Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
