We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspiring, committed and well qualified Head of Faculty to join and lead the Languages and Literature Faculty at Saint Felix School.
The successful candidate will be leading the English, French, Spanish, and Latin departments. As Head of Faculty the post holder will be expected to take part in the future development of the subject both within the curriculum and the extra-curricular programme.
Saint Felix School is an independent co-educational day and boarding school for students aged from 2 to 18, located close to the glorious seaside town of Southwold on the Suffolk coast. Our aim is to develop well-rounded students with the skills and the personality to make a success of their lives during and after their school years.

We are looking for a Head of Faculty who will be able to;
* Lead the Languages and Literature faculty ensuring assessment, curriculum coverage, continuity and progression in the subject for pupils of all ages and abilities
* Deliver exciting and inspiring lessons across Prep and Senior. The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach A Level and GCSE
* Actively support the co-curricular programme at Saint Felix.
* Work with pupils of all ability and encourage pupils to develop and reach their potential in Languages
This position would suit an experienced teacher or exiting Head of Department. As a smaller school with a community culture, you will soon appreciate the warmth and sense of friendliness that embodies the institution.
